what is the difference ..

I know Hitler existed because he impacted my family life. I am from Gypsy descent and when he invaded Poland his first victims of genocide were gypsies. Luckily my great (x2) grandfather escaped the carnage and came to the U.S. I don't need proof of a deity, I know there is one and SHE is all powerful and gracious. He law is love unto all things. Why is it hard for christians to understand this?

My Uncle had to be almost blind drunk before he would talk very much about WWII, but what little he said was more than enough. He would talk about people who couldn't understand a word of German, who would be mesmerized when they heard Hitler on the radio. My Uncle told me a little of what they found when they freed the concentration camps--of the people hanging on meat hooks still alive; of the people he killed out of mercy to put them out of the pain they were in. Hitler was very real. Too many people knew him who are still alive today. We don't need proof of his existence because we have too much proof.
God, on the other hand, has very little proof of his existence. We have stories handed down about what he might have been responsible for, but we also have stories that attribute those same feats as having been done by others.
You used a lousy example that was too easily refuted. Rather than use a current individual who was well documented and was personally known by many whose existence has never been in question, such as former English prime minister Neville Chamberlain, you should have used someone like Siddhartha Gautama. (Who was also a real person and was personally known by many, but proof of his existence lies farther in the past and is easier to question)
Saying Hitler's existence is in doubt is like saying Howard Hughes was a fairy tale. God, however, resides with Grindel and Beowulf. Now PROVE that they never existed.

Jesus said for those who believe without seeing...it's called Faith. He even explained that if we DID see God, would we still believe? No. It's human nature to require proof of things, HUMAN, not spiritual, which God is. No one has ever seen God in the spiritual form. We have seen Him in the human form, yet some still do no believe. Can we afford not to believe and then die and discover that He does really exist? I don't think so. Look around and see the proof of His existence, it's fairly simple...

there are pictures of hitler and recorded news video of him , he was a tangible person .
noone is supposed to be "allowed" to know what god looks like . no pictures , no news video .
so there is PROOF of hitler also he left thousands of people suffering in his wake , more proof.

Are you insane? There is proof Hitler existed. He killed millions of Jews!!! There are pictures, video, etc.
There is NO proof god exists. I'm not saying there isn't a god but there is no proof.
