who can prove it did - hence the controversy. Many think the bible is a very well written tool for big business called organized religion.

Now, for the sake of argument lets say it is. If you are one of those big businesses (which are huge and bring in countless millions of dollars) wouldn't you argue the points in this bible to serve your religion? Wars are fought by the rich to stay rich or get richer.

So here is a theory as good as any others.

People have different concepts of what is correct and what is not. This is the reason for bickering on questions and answers. As in all things written concerning historical or Biblical you are going to have those that say prove it. Of course if you was not there this can become a never ending process. This is the only solution I can come up with. The Bible is the center of Christian beliefs, I hope, and others are attempting to say it is a book of nice fairy tales. So now you have a split in cultures. Not a split in people but their belief system. So they call each other names etc it seems. Sad isn't it that this can happen.

Yes , what is in the bible did happen way back when. But it is also a prophecy of the future. After all, History repeats itself. But not all things stated in the bible happened back then, some of what is written was meant for future. It is constantly talking about Jesus' Return to earth, which has not happened at any time in history as of this moment. But the day is near. Are you ready?

These morons and lunatics think that the bible predicts things. In order to prove that the bible is 'right' they go out of their way to make things in the bible come true. It's called self-fufilling prophecy. Also the Israelis want to own the entire Middle East and the United States government is helping them.

Well, as long as not all people on this planet share the same point of view, there'll always be fights.
It's about believing stuff that already happened. But then, who nowadays does live like Jesus? He didn't consume much, he didn't s**** around etc.. I'm not into the bible thing, but if people would do like him, we'd be better off.

The bible is a fairy tale, with the old testament loosely based upon the alleged history of the Jewish people. None of it is fact, and most of it is completely unbelievable. Yet people keep making decisions based upon feelings, faith and thier belief in the veracity of this fable.

People fight for two reasons: first, because they are afraid of the other, hence the surviving instinct set in.
second, cos it is the only way to show love to each other, hence the backbiting.
thanks and be happy.
PS: whatever happens, it is not over until it's over.

humans fight.
right now its all about revenge, and the cycle of violence. whatever reason they give to justify it is b.s.
war is b.s.
the only way for this planet to have peace is to eradicate all
humans. which is what I will be doing in 2012. I may coose to save a few
people so i don't get lonely, so get on my good side while you can.

What ever gives you the idea it was over? There are no happy endings.

Like Tom and Jerry. Every episode ends in Jerry's victory but next time it all starts over again.
