because the basic tenets of religion are dogmatic and refuse to allow their followers to think rationally and scientifically. the exception to these kind of religions is Buddhism. the propagators of most of the religions say unless you believe in their book or god or son of god there will be no salvation and all others are traitors and followers of Satan. they make commercial propaganda , advertising through all means at their disposal to embrace their religion. of course Hinduism is exceptional religion. because every caste in that religion is a sub religion it self and people belonging to one caste hate other castes. only a person armed with the ideology of rationalism, humanism and atheism does not hate people of other religions.

I dont believe any religous person who is following their religion correctly would be justified in teaching or preaching hate. It isnt that they hate what they don't understand, they don't like it when they see people being hurt by lifestyles they know to be wrong. This line is sometimes blurred and the hate or discontent is taken out on the person, rather than the act itself. This does not make it right, but I would also be careful in stereotyping all religion and all religous people as being hateful. This attitude in itself is a sense of prejudice.

Christianity doesn't preach hate. The bible gives us the moral laws, and how we should guide are lives. If we see injustice, we don't tolerate it. We don't hate people, we only warn them, about consequences. Christianity is about Jesus coming to save us from our sins, showing us that even though we deserve eternal punishment, we can be forgiven. through his everlasting love. We understand our guilt, and tell other people they are guilty as well. If they are offended we don't care, cause there soul is at stake, which is so valuable. We know that its better to enter heaven with no eyes, then hell with both of our eyes. Therefore we can say that our souls are of extreme importance.
All other religions are false, they come from evil spirits trying to bring destruction on your life.
You say we don't understand, we do understand. We know the flesh is an enemy of God since the fall of Adam. All people have sinful desires, only some chose to turn away from them, cause they realize God's way brings life.
If you don't love the truth,,believe the lie, but either way the truth will always be the truth.

That announcement is supposed to attract a difference among a individual courting with Jesus and simply going by way of formalized rituals that can or would possibly not nonetheless have whatever to do with the common reason. It references the verse Rev. three:sixteen `So since you're lukewarm, and neither scorching nor bloodless, I will spit you out of My mouth. That method: Either preserve to the orignal teachings, or reject them, however do not be a few wishy-washy follower of mere ritual and laws that come best from guys, no longer God. So, those who have a courting with Jesus are aware of it, and the ones that do not, are aware of it. But those who best consider they do are quite in hindrance. It's the complete fake educating factor that you're being warned towards. Read the guide of Romans. Paul has really plenty to mention approximately fake teachings, and those that comply with them. That used to be what he intended through that... I consider I've heard this adequate that I would traditionally supply you much more information, however I am worn out, and I am an atheist besides....

Per Se, no religion preaches hate. Muslims brag they they are commanded by their God to kill those who don't believe in their god. Ridiculous .
As for religious people hating what they can't understand is due to their own insecurity. They feel that they would lose the control on their followers if logic was right & their teachings wrong. Their Ego , their status in society & their wealth would be questioned. They want people to blindly follow them rather than question them.

Which needs to be backed up with violence: truth or lies? Lies, of course. The truth can't be threatened with disproof or by unbelievers. Lies can be disproved, and people who depend on belief in lies can be threatened, and that's why force is sometimes used to protect lies from challenge.
The only political beliefs that are required by law, the only ones to which expressing dissent in public is a crime, are false beliefs. The truth has never been given the protection of laws, not because it isn't valued, but because it has never needed such protection.
Religion is dogma. It doesn't matter whether it is called "revealed truth" or "divine revelation," the almost certain truth is that most religious beliefs are false. They were never checked for accuracy against a standard that is not subject to human manipulation, and so any mistakes the original codifier made were protected from challenge.
Science, by contrast, checks its statements against standards not subject to human manipulation: the laws of nature. When it finds an error in belief, it changes the beliefs, and the new set of scientific beliefs is better for the change because it contains at least one fewer errors than the old set did. After a long history of finding errors and making corrections, science gained the power to produce near-miracles through technology.
Religion's "miracles" are either coincidence or fraud or lies - they're like ghosts and UFO's: you hear about others who say they saw them, but you never see them yourself. Scientific achievements are solid, dependable, and get the job done almost every time.
Not only that, if you study the relevant lore, you can come to understand how that job got done. With science, there's no evasion of explanation, none of the mysterious "we-just-can't-understand" hocus-pocus that religious charlatans will fob off on you. A scientist will either honestly explain how things work in clear terms, or else he will say "I don't know."
Now, suppose you made your living by pushing religious dogma. You have a vested interest in maintaining the belief of the multitudes. Having a vested interest, you'll lie, and you'll kid yourself about the lying. You'll either tell yourself that your lies aren't lies, or you'll tell yourself that you're lying to secure other people's well-being. And, in the latter case, you'll have engaged in a pretty bit of circular reasoning.
If someone comes along and poses a serious challenge to your dogmas, and it seems as if the multitudes might be about to abandon you for the challenger, then you'll understand that you have a competitor for the loyalty of your congregation. You'll know that your "paycheck" is in danger. It's not uncommon, in circumstances such as those, that you might begin to hate the infidel heretic.

Perhaps an even better question is, why do people assume such things about people, when they have so few facts? You cannot believe what you hear from non-believers.As they will say anything to get you to agree with them, even if it is a lie.
Christian religions preach Love, not hate.

I dont think anyone likes what they dont understand and its usually because they are afraid of it. People are scared of things they dont understand. That in itself makes for ignorant people. The correct response to something you don't understand should be to try to learn something about it then even if you don't agree, you can see some side to it or find some understanding. Unfortunately most people dont want to try to understand things if they are not agreeable or dont affect them. It is simply easier to hate.. less effort. Religious people have strict beliefs and can often have one sided closed minds to things that are not easily in their 'good' category. They then instantly judge people without any effort to see outside of their own ignorance. Christians especially do this and yet in doing so, contradict their own beliefs.. Didn't it say in the bible that no man should pass judgement on another? Seems to me that christians are the most judgemental people around. This is a major problem that I have when it comes to believing in the ways of any religion and its confused me no end. Just my opinion.

Religion: The study of God and how to become like him. A true religion does not espouse hate since God is not about hate , but tolerance patience and love. The evil perpetrated in the world in the name of religion is a convenience to evil men that would have the rest of us believe that their acts are justified because thats what "their God" wants them to do.

Religion does not preach/teach hate but rather fear of the unknown or whatever is different, it is this fear that results in the hate we see in the world today.
