my sister turns the most innocent things into something dirty. like we will be listening to my mcr cd and she'll bust out laughing then tell me that gerard (lead singer) said that he would go down with his friends or something else like that. but then when we listen to my fall out boy cd she thinks it's disturbing cuz they always sing about sex or girls they had sex with. then once when we were at church the pastor said something about hardening of the heart and the spirt springing up, and i could hear her trying to keep from laughing. is this immature behavior or what? she is 15.

the lyrics to that song are "i wont go down by myself but i'll go down with my friends". referring to either gettin in trouble or dying (i havent figured it out yet)

It is a little immature. I think most people have outgrown it by 15, but she will grow up eventually.

The church story was cute. It make me laugh and I am 50.

It is a sign that your sister is having trouble maintaining boundries you need to explain to her that although these things are funny to her they are not really appropriate. Tell her how this makes you feel when she is behaving this way and remind her that not everything is sexual as later in life this behaviour could get her into trouble. If you feel unable to talk to her then ask a parent or older friend to explain to her that not everything has a double meaning. Also bear in mind she is still very young and therefore rather immature at present and may be unaware that she is being so rude. Everyone needs boundaries and so plz try and teach her as much as you can and just try and be patient with her she may just grow out of it.Good luck!

My younger sister (14) listens to that exact same music. She takes pride in being emo. You can't be too angry at her. You'd be lying if you said that you never went through a stage where if someone said the word "penis" you'd start giggling or something of the sort. We're all pervs when we're that young because our hormones are so out of control with all the changes going on in our bodies that our minds tend to forget that we're being pervs since it makes us giggle to hear such things. Kids get over that after a while. You just have to be patient because I'm sure that at that age you weren't any better. XD Of course, I'm just assuming, but just because you don't say anything doesn't mean you don't think it because you knew why she was laughing in church in the first place without her telling you. =P

She will grow out of it. Most people I knew at that age did that to some degree, some (me lol) more that others. Its just getting to understand what is going on during the time of change that is puberty. She might be more aware of what she is doing than you think. It could be done to shock, or she could find it genuinely amusing. She will probably stop once she matures, and probably reallise how stupid it was. I wouldnt worry about it. There are far more disturbing forms of behaviour than sniggering at double entendres. Have you ever thought how she might view your behaviour in all this? Prudish? Talk to her about it

You are right! My son is 14 and if you say boob his friends and him lye on the floor laughing and gosh forbid if you say butt. They are having hormone rushes and just learning about sex in health. I use the word inappropriate and if I was you I would explain it to your sister or ask your parent.
