Exodus 3:14---

the King James version says 'I AM THAT I AM'
the New American Standard version says 'I AM WHO I AM'

He spoke to Moses from the burning bush. Moses asked who He was, and He replied, "I AM".
Exodus 3:14 (NKJV)
And God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And He said, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.' "
Jesus also said that he was the I AM HEin the garden when the soldiers came to arrest him.
John 18:4-6 (NKJV)
Jesus therefore, knowing all things that would come upon Him, went forward and said to them, "Whom are you seeking?" [5] They answered Him, "Jesus of Nazareth." Jesus said to them, "I am He."
