I am not able to use Internet Explore since then.
I use a dial-up connection. i get connected, but when i click on the icon, it gives the message which is generally displayed when the internet is not connected.

I agree with nadeem you need to load your system CD you got with the computer and do a windows fix off the restore CD which should reinstall the files that got deleted on accident. Also another fix is stop running Internet explorer and try using mozilla firefox explorer. I usually has less problems and you don't get pop ups or add wear nearly as bad. Also when someone tells you to delete files you dont recognize, unless you memorized all your systems files that need to be there for windows to work don't listen to them thats how you get into messes like this and for all sakes stay out of your system 32 folder. Thats asking for trouble.

Save your documents and favorites to a disk and reload the system with the original install disk and drivers disks. Try to make a back-up this time, before something happens again.

Okay... as you know... these are both dangerous pieces of code.

Run a good virus protection software package against your machine... Look for them in your WIN-ROOT directory... and kill them... Go into MSCONFIG and remove any programs you don't recognize (you should do that anyway)

Good luck

BTW... GOOGLE the modules... it will tell you the same thing.

hmm
seems like something has changed your kernel in some way ...
it's realy disgusting ...
you can try to reapir your windows instalation from Windows boot instaaltion disk .
anyway - if in safe mode still present this you can try to change it manualy by copy this file on some disk and copy it replacing your current kernel with it ...
Anyway - you shall need some OS to manage this copy ... - you can try eith UBD or some other like Win PE or so on ...
( you cna even copy it and replace it directly from Win PE boot CD )
