There's no minimum age for babies to fly, but there are restrictions on pregnant women flying; most say you can't fly during the 8th/9th month (to avoid women going into labor on the flight) Check with the airline and her doctor to make sure she's OK to fly if it's late in her pregnancy.

DONT LISTEN TO THESE PEOPLE! IT IS AN FAA REGUALTION THAT A NEWBORN MUST BE AT LEAST 2 WEEKS OLD TO FLY ON A COMMERCIAL AIRCRAFT. Trust me I know the rules of the FAA like the back of my hand. I have worked for several airlines and I have denied boarding for several people who have had a child less than 2 weeks old. I always ask for the birth certificate also.

you can fly with 3 days old baby...no restrictions in flying. Or straight from hospital to the airport.

My nephew was 7 days old flown 3 hrs non stop.

Doctors : they never say NO to flying.

I strongly feel we must give baby chance to get used to the new world but not in sky.

Haven't u noticed many babies cry on board, poor darlings do feel some pain in their ears.

Baby can be allowed to fly at any age. If the baby is under two and you have proof with you about his/her age he/she should get on free. Have a nice flight.

As far as I know, there are no age restrictions for babies to fly.
You should ask a doctor, what he suggests for the first time travel, but from the airlines, there are no restrictions.
Most airlines provide free babycribs, these must be reseved in advance when making your reservation.

Have a nice day

The fact that your wife is pregnant, the baby in her tummy could be the youngest "passenger" ever. Have you heard of moms giving birth on planes?
