god, I don't know about everyone else, but I love it, makes me melt just hearing someone British speak, the accent and some of the expressions are just so damn cute.....

I think most women like accents they don't hear all the time and probably have favorites. Have to say I do like the English and Aussie accents. (Especially English girls...very hot) V. sexy on some people and would probably get you far with some airhead I for one wouldn't base "hooking up" on an accent.
my bf is from the Bahamas that's how we met I complimented him on his accent (2 yrs ago). I am also a sucker for latino accents...Hell spanish in general lol
You would probably have good time on spring break in the states depending on where you go and when your spring break takes place. A lot of Americans go out of the country around our spring break. Cancun is a popular spot. too many pucking drunk tourists for me I like Playa Del Carmen and met a few English and a lot of European people while there.

Well, that's the stereotype, yeah... Personally, I go more for Scottish accents (thanks, Ewan MacGregor!!).
As far as English accents go, it completely depends on what that Englishman is saying. If he's saying to me, "So, I hear that American girls really love English accents..." followed by some corny pickup line, then no, the accent doesn't make a difference at all. I'd still roll my eyes and walk away.

I think the English accent sounds good to the American ear...precise, exact, clean....at least some of the English accents. I remember a girl talking to me in a pub in London one night...and I finally had to tell her I couldn't understand a single word she was saying. That sort of comment tends to end a conversation pretty quickly...she probably thought I was simply another 'rude American'.....

Well anything different helps ease the tedium of everyday life, lol. I like English accents, but I prefer Irish, real Irish, not lucky charms Irish. But that isn't the reason I have an Irish bf, nope. Well, maybe it put the odds a bit more in his favour, lol.
