While Hrigveda (most sacred scripture for Hindus) says in 6:45:16,Yajurveda says in 40:8, Brahmasutra says in its first verse and Chandogya Upanishad says in 6:2:1 to worship one God.

Those who are saying that God has avatars do not know that Vedas do not believe in avatars. Vedas say something about hrishis or prophets but nothing about avatars.

Those who are saying that God has different 330 m forms are contradicting with Yajurveda 40:8 which says God’s pure form is ONE.

Those who are saying that we all are Gods are really confused. There scriptures are saying something else and they are just following the religion of their fathers not Hinduism. Respect and worship have two different meanings.

Crazy s when Arun Shourie and Swami Dayanand Saraswati can malign Quran so why not a muslim can ask a simple question. I think you are taking word kafir as a bad word. Kafir is an Arabic word which in Islamic Methodology means non-Muslim. Not only Hindus all non muslims are kafirs,if you think it is a bad word then I can only give you a suggestion to accept Islam. Do you not know what Hindus had done in Gujrat riots to Muslims?

Muslims rule over India for about 500+ years if they want they can convert all Hindus but today you can see that there are 87% non muslims.Do you know in Islamic Shariah rapists are given death penalty, burglar’s hands are chopped off and muderer of innocent is given hell. Islam is a religion of peace not hatred.

Hindus don't believe 330 million Gods. They see the truth, that all people are parts of God. This puts the total a bit over 7 billion.

Hindus believe each of us to be a part of God. Much like the leaves on a tree, each is a leaf, but still each leaf is undeniably the tree. Much like Christianity teaches that we are all a part of God.

You can make fun of Hindus if you want but I assure you that these people know God more completely than most of the bible thumpers that spout nonsense about God on this forum. Perhaps you should study some Hindu scripture, you will be surprised to learn that western science and theology are just now catching up to what Hindu scripture was teaching 4000 years ago. Your comment is based on ignorance of the true facts if it was intended to be derogatory, as are all derogatory comments toward the faith of others.

God is certainly more pleased with the sincere prayers of a devout Hindu than he is with bigoted ravings of many whom mistakenly call them selves Christians.

Love and blessings.
Your brother Don

As far as the reference to 330 Mn Gods (which includes Goddess also - no complaint from femmines!) in the Hindu Scriptures of 'Veda', 'Upanishath' and 'Purana' are concerned, it is the various forms of thoughts, perception and beliefs within the purview of natural instincts with which we the humans are configured or destined to spend our life cycle.
These 330 Mn are the symbolic representation of the human nature and tendencies at vaious points of time in teh life cycle.
Even in this era of technological advancement - including the one through which we are interacting - can anyone in the world come out with the 330 Mn names attributed to them. No!
Even according to the the same sciptures, Brahma is the one and only deity in the Godly community with all other Gods representing different facets of Him, and we the human beings with the assimilation of all the qualities and powers of these all Gods fully in its micro magnitude of the macro.
Again, Brahma, though the principle deity is operationally and executionally composed of Vishnu and Shiva with specific duty of 'Shrishti', 'Stithi' and 'Samhara' fundamentally attributed respectively to each and functioning in Unisom.

First of all, why does a muslim need to ask anything about hinduism? Hindus are kaffirs.

Muslims have been trying to destroy hinduism for 1400 years and no one cared.

Why now does a muslim need to ask about hinduism? Hindus are kaffirs according to the Koran.

Hindus have not tried to convert you, hindus have not stolen your land or murdered your people in millions, hindus do not slaughter human beings the way you do and hindus do not try to take over the world. Hindus do not rape your women or abduct them for slavery.

Why then do you want to discuss hinduism? We are kaffirs. Leave us alone. I dont think I want to discuss my religion with anyone of you.

The Vedic scriptures clearly state that there is only one God,
The Bhagavad-Gita is the main scripture of Hinduism. In the Bhagavad-Gita, Lord Krishna clearly states that he is the only God and only he should be worshipped.
Here are some verses from the Bhagavad-Gita:
“Of all that is material and all that is spiritual in this world, know for certain that I am both its and origin and dissolution. O conqueror of wealth [Arjuna], there is no truth superior to me. Everything rests upon me, as the pearls are strung on a thread” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 7.6-7)
“It should be understood that all species of life, o son of kunti, are made possible by birth in this material nature, and that I am the seed giving father.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 14.4)
“The whole cosmic order is under me. By my will it is manifested again and again, and by my will it is annihilated at the end.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 9.8)
“I am the source of all spiritual and material worlds. Everything emanates from me. The wise who know this perfectly engage in my devotional service and worship me with all their hearts.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 10.8)
“Furthermore, O Arjuna, I am the generating seed of all existences. There is no being, moving or unmoving, that can exist without me.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 10.39)

Do you see many Gods above or just one?

There is only one God in Hinduism. All other are the different 'forms' of Him.No one can represent the power behind this universe in just one form;it takes many forms.

Brahma is the one God, and the other gods represent facets of Him, and we are facets of those Gods, but all of the Gods and all of us are actually all Brahma, and He is the One God of which we are all a part. :)

Hinduism may seem like a whacky polytheistic mythology, but at it's core I think it holds more truths to it than Western philosophy and religion does.

Satan loves to keep people confused; therefore, he gets men to write books about many Gods and many ways to worship. Men begin to argue about which God to worship and which for of worship is the best. Thus, their minds are kept far away from the one true God and the one true for of worship. As long as people are not worshiping Jesus Christ in the Spirit, then they are confirming their reservations in hell. Satan is going to hell, he knows it and he want to drag as many people with him as he can. This is his way of doing it.

hinduism teaches us to respect everything in life, whether they are living beings or non living beings. all those 330 ml gods signify one thing or the other (dead, living or non living). the foremost reason 330 m gods signifies is that god is everywhere.

What's wrong with that?

Catholics have at least that many saints, and they are more or less minor gods. You can even turn your relatives into a saint, your mom even before she dies!
