I feel like I have been blessed by the results I've had from starting this idea on this site. I collect angels and I have found an old book about all kinds of angels from all kinds of religions(how each believes about them). I haven't read the whole book but from what I have read they are amazingly similar. Maybe we are all more alike then we think. Please do or give something to someone who could use it. Food, a compliment (sincere), a place to sleep for the night, a ride to work, hold the door at the store for them, you get the idea. Then do something nice for you- just because you are a child of God and deserve it. Peace.

Wow, some people are not in a good mood this morning. I have news for you- I have lived through more crisis and loss than most. I have come through things most people would have given up and " I am happy'. It is a choice. I respect your opinions though- this is where you are on your own journey. I hope your next stop is more pleasant-peace

Earth angel- I see you have the word angel in your name so I must have touched a nerve. I should say lets respect humans and animals and the earth(all that is in it). I am sorry but we have to agree to disagree there are many people of all beliefs that do not do those things. I am not impling that the people on this site don't do them, just reminding them maybe I really mean only good- those are my intentions. I am not political. I am just here as a student of life. My beliefs so far have brought me to Jesus but he was unjudgemental and loving, healing, respectful, forgiving. That is what I strive for. You are very interesting in your views though- I am learning alot. peace.

Hey- drink more p - I ask this everyday. I do them and more but I am just trying in my own way to create awareness. If you already do these things then why get angry with me for saying them? Peace.

I already do that. For no reason other than to do something nice for someone else. My family doesn't have much, but we give when we have the ability. We offer rides to people in the rain, we "adopt" a family at Christmas so that they can have presents and dinner. We give all my children's outgrown clothes to the church. Me.. with one baby in a stroller and a 4 year old on my leg holds doors for people, who turn around to say " Thank you, but I should have been holding the door for you."
If you look, you will find there are many people who go out of their way to be nice and to help. My family does that, and we are better for it.

Angels are so not humans, I thought you said you were starting something called "lets respect humans" not "let's collect angels" (LOL).
Is there some relevance to your saying you are a christian, you could as well say you are a blonde or a redhead starting this thing up.
There is no need to be a Christian or even a child of God to "deserve" anything nor to... "give something to someone who could use it. Food, a compliment (sincere), a place to sleep for the night, a ride to work, hold the door at the store for them"... many of us non-theists do some if not all of these things and more on a regular basis already.
It's even more useful to support equal rights legislation whenever you can...and to fight discrimination and prejudice wherever it arises, a level playing field makes life so much better for all of us.

How nice to hear such a thing from a Christian. You have really touched the essence of all religions. I am a religious person myself. But I am a Hindu. The neo christian in India, would despise my religion, as something despicable, obscurantism, whereas objectively speaking, my religion is not one. Whatever be the theology of different religions, there is a common thread running through all the religions. The sooner the whole world realised the better. Religions are not to be dogmatic but they must be something to be practised with some meaning to our fellow human beings. Love should be the nucleus of all religions.

You live in your simple little world where you can shut everything out and bask in your silly assumptions:
There is a place for you in the intellectual food chain that even the most pious and religious of philosophers would determine to be slightly lower than the people who are just trying to live their lives....
World peace through being nicey nice...whatever next..
Evolution and human nature has got some very nasty surprises in store for you...good luck

Good. It's not for Christians alone. Anyone who cares for people can do it. Many have been doing it without advertisements. God bless them all.

I am an atheist and routinely do those things.
BTW, "respect" is earned, not given. I do not respect anyone unless he earns it as an individual. And, it has nothing to do with race, religion, gender or anything other than his own performance.

Define humans. I am not willing to spoil humanity by admitting the animals who cut the heads off of defenseless people and hide behind women's skirts while they fire rockets.

Well, do you really need to organize to begin doing good things? Shouldn't you already be doing them?
Also, I believe you asked this before.
