1) Diet Coke is being advertised by a turtle, Coke Zero by a bunch of wierd guys.

2) Diet Coke is aimed at women (remember the window cleaner adverts many moons ago), Coke Zero is aimed at men.

3) Coke Zero doesn't come in Vanilla, Lime, Lemon or Cherry flavours, Diet Coke does.

4) Diet Coke has a silver label, Coke Zero has a black label.

Can't think of any more differences.

Diet coke has sweeteners instead of sugar, Zero has some new type of chemical/sweetner instead of sugar, but keeps the same coke taste, as Diet is a bit like wine without the 'body'. But both may contain pesticides as has been proved in the case of Pepsi and other soft drinks (for a higher content of a pesticide called DDT) in SE Asia of late (in India)...its becoming a raging controversy already and some Indian states have banned some of them already...SO WATCH OUT!!

Coke Zero has a bit more flavour but essentially there are no differences. This is Cokes answer to Pepsi Max, but it tastes watery in comparison.

Diet coke is sweetened with aspartame.
Coke zero is sweetened with a mixture of splenda and other artificial sweeteners which I believe include aspartame and acesulfime K.
This is supposed to make it taste a little less nasty that the original diet coke but they're both pretty nasty tasting IMO.

They are both the same seemingly but Coca-Cola discovered that men are more reluctant to drink diet coke because they think it is a woman's drink, so they produced Coca-Cola Zero

Coke ZERO has no calories while Diet Coke has less than Classic.

I don't really understand, or, care for that matter, but hey, what do I care?

the word zero is spelt a little diffently from the word diet, I myself prefer the word zero as I can say that I have been on a "zero" for the last ten years rather than a "diet"
