maybe try to understand him.. maybe he is busy at work. Or try not to text him for the meantime then let's see if he will the one to text you first.

You are forcing yourself on him , he may like your friendship not necessary you . So better you too also stop sending sms for a while , at least for a month , you will certainly know your stand , if likes will follow or you both must forget and find another .
