Money isn't everything, but communication, respect, love, affection, attention and companionship are.
People usually cheat when they are missing something in a relationship (check out the list above). If they don't feel their partner is fulfilling all of their needs, they will find someone else who will and it doesn't matter how much the couple loves each other or how much money they have either.
You should ask you wife why she cheated and, if you want to work things out, see a marriage counselor.

Theres no reason in the world why she would have done something like that. But sometimes relationships go sour even if you didn't know it was occuring. You guys probably got too comfortable, too dependent and she needed something nmew and exciting.
