Well if you're in a relationship, even if you're only 18 there's no harm in talking. When you start making plans that's a bit less sensible. I know you're probably starting to wonder how old you're going to be when you stop hearing crap like this but at your age you really don't know what you will want out of life. More bad news, you're almost certainly not going to be with this guy in 4 to 5 years. Young men and especially young women are GENETICALLY poor at long term relationships. It's part of your design that you should be shopping for your mate at this age.
So talk all you want, you're supposed to have those conversations in a serious relationship. Don't close your eyes to other opportunities in life. Keep using condoms.

at 18/19 I wouldn't talk too much about the future, you will most likely NOT be together. 4 or 5 years at this age is a l.o.n.g. time.
Too much to side track you, and if you are loving each other there's no need to wait 4 or 5 years???? why talk when you can do... NOTHING is like marriage it is the hardiest thing to do
day in and Day out together,,, pls not at 18/19 go live your life first
marriage will kill a relationship!

I would not go on and on about having kids at this point. Something more important would be goals, saving for a place to live and, most important, an education right now. I certainly hope that both of you are planning on graduating from college before "the big day".....that would be the mature thing to do.

yes thats right. You're growing in each other. But first and foremost finish your studies first before getting into. Not all the times you are into straight lines.. you will experience the turbulence in your relationship make sure that you have a good foundation to surpass that trials that may come. Have a good start. Respect each other and Don't let anyone to ruin your relationship. Trust each other. Goodluck honey.

That's quite normal! It is really good to talk about such things before u get into marriage so as one knows what to expect 4rom the other.Imagine if he didn't want to have kids n' u had never talked about it!?Wouldn't that be scary!!??
I wish u all the happiness!!Take that 4rom a woman 8,5 years happily married, with 2 kids n' who planned ahead just like u do!!Byeeeee!!!

Yes, Look at it this way.
It's better getting married when ur young so you can spend alot of time with your child.
But don't forget your studies coz to you parents that is what is most Important...ask yourself this question.
His Your bf able to take care of you and ur baby....I mean we talking about the bills, food and Clothes.
Will he still love you when your beauty is not there no more but ur personality?

Sounds about right to me. You're both legal and not talking about marriage until some future point. Feel free to dream.
