No, the color difference is due to scarring. You can however go to your local pharmacy and buy dermablend. It is a makeup designed specifcally to cover birthmarks and scars. Buy it in your natural skin tone and your burn will be covered...no one will know!

Ok from my experience if you get a burn and you want it back to normal, avoid exposure to sun light. Something in the sun will keep the burn color. Time usually bring the color back to normal.
