I am a proud parent of 3, one girl and 2 little boys. Noone can really put a number on how many is to many. 3 is enough for me because thats all I CAN handle. where someone that has 5 or 6 they are happy and well adjusted and happy with their choice. I would have loved to have a house full of children. but right now. 3 is a house full of children for me. lol...I have friends that have more children than i do and they are sooo good with them.. I lose my patience with mine to easily so sometimes i wonder if i should have had more than 2 but i love my baby who is 4 now and the good happy times out weigh the bad moments by 99%. I cant have anymore children. I had my tubes tied with my 3rd child due to financial strain for the family. I wouldnt do it any other way.. (having the 3rd) I love my babies more than anything in this world. they give me a reason to smile every single day. Good luck

I have 4 children two daughters, Inçi 17 years old and Naomi 10 years old and I have two sons Mick 15 years old and Jaymie 13 years old.
Me and my husband wouldn't mind in having a couple more and we would like to try again but if it doesn't work out it's all right because we already have children but if we are succesful it would be great and they would be more than welcome.
I don't think that a couple can have to many children it's a matter of free choice and I don't see any harm in big families as long as people are responsible and loving parents who invest their time and energy into their children and give them all the love and respect that they need in order to grow up in a warm, loving and safe family where they have all the chances they need to develop themselves into friendly, responsible individuals that are able to shine their light into the world.

I have 2 boys and i think we are done. I feel like we can support the 2 well enough that we can give them pretty much everything they need or want and if we had more than that i feel like they would have to do without. Thank about Christmas time and how hard it would be to give more than 2 kids a good x-mas. Especially when they get older and start wanting the more expensive stuff. We are comfortable with he ones we have. That is my opinion, but some may think different.

I have two girls, ages 10 and 7. I am expecting my third child any day now. And since this one is going to be a girl as well, I will more than likely try again for my elusive boy! I think the number of kids you choose to have involves the ability to raise them, nurture them and provide for them. Some one may have the financial means to have ten kids but not the mental or emotional capability to handle them and vice versa. I think it just depends on each individuals circumstances.

I have two boys now and might have one more. You have too many when the state has to pay for them and everything you have. If you have to work so much you never see them you have too many. Too many all depends on how much time, love and money you have for them.

There's no such thing as "too many." If a couple wants 10 kids, then let them have 10 kids! That may be too many for me. But there's no universal number that's too many for everyone.

I have one right now, and I want at least three, and no more than four. Anything more than four would be too many for me. :o) But not necessarily for another couple.

I am just expecting my first baby. Theoretically I'd like to have two, no more. Will see what the experience with the first one will be like - probably, I'll not want to have more kids:) No, hope it'll not be that bad.
But I think, two is just fine. Though, I really admire big families, especially when all the kids r managed so well.

I have none and NEVER WANT ANY!!! That's right, I love Cyrus a lot, but I'd never want any kids with him (although I don't think he'd want any with me). I wasn't trained until 2.5 and hear he wasn't until 3.0, so that's a lot of freaking Pampers we could save on by not having any snot-nosed kids! Besides, if they turn out any weirder than either of us, they'll be institutionalized by the end of middle school!

I have twins. I would love more if I met that special someone. Too many is when your body and finances can't cope with another child
