My parents kicked me out at 16. 20 years have gone by since and I haven't seen or spoken to them a single time.

I left home when I was 16 moved in with my sister. Was alot easier to survive back then.it doesnt matter what age you leave home 18 or 28, your parents will always be there . And your family home is your stable environment. Tho we all have to get out and face the big wide world some time.

Left at 16 I was pregnant with my daughter and I didn't feel it was my Moms responsibility!!!!! I'm 36 now and shes 19 pregnant with my first grandchild !!!! Best decision I ever made our mistakes are not our parents fault you make your bed and lie in it!!!!!

i am almost 24 and still living with my parents. i bear my personal expenses but i do not pay anything to my parents. they still take care of me like they did when i was younger. i do not want to leave them ever. i wish to take care of them forever too.
unfortunately, i guess, i will have to leave soon. i cannot stay with my parents when i'll be married. i just wish i can still take care of them ..
