Type in and visit "bhaktivedanta108" the first site in the google result. There is an essay on proofs of existence of God through syllogisms. When you study them all and when you understand God you will not ask the question what you will lose if you don't believe in Him.

Please, chant Hare Krishna and be happy.

Those whom come to know God because they have nothing to lose will not have true faith...it is about filling that void in your life. Like Simon in the book of ACTS trying to buy yourself the fulfillment of the Holy Spirit without faith is pointless.
I am not saying that those who think that there is no God will not come to faith but the buying your way to heaven will not work. The only way to be saved is to ask for forgiveness from the Lord Jesus Christ and allow the Holy Spirit to engulf your heart.

What could I possibly GAIN by being a hypocrite and SAYING that I believe?! In the biggest truth of all, NO ONE KNOWS, but everyone THINKS they do, based on different stories of how people invented him!! It's remarkable in this day and age of supposed "enlightenment", that we put our trust in something that will ALWAYS be COMPLETELY BASED ON FAITH ALONE!! Will you put all of your eggs in that flimsy basket??! Well, I'm sorry, I just ain't buyin' it, just because some ancient scribes told me to do so!! Adam and Eve?? Someone made them up--I ain't buyin' that one either!! Noah, and some magnificent ark that he couldn't POSSIBLY have had the time or tools or wherewithall to build, LET ALONE get EXACTLY TWO of each and every species to go on it??!! Come on, people, where did your common sense go??! In short, I'll TELL YOU what I have to lose--my intellect and powers of reasoning!!

By the way, if you spent more time on your education than on thinking about some magical creature in the sky that doesn't exist, you would know that the word is "do" and not "due"; and the word is "no" and not "know"! And your punctuation and capitalization sucks beyond all reason and intellect!!

You can't believe in what you don't believe, why doesn't anyone get that? If you don't believe it, you don't believe it. What has a person got to lose? What has he got to gain by "faking it"? If I said that 2x2=7 and told you that your soul depended on believing that, would that cause you belive it? Would you pretend to believe it, just to play it safe? Do you believe that 2x2=7? Will my moral imperatives sway your belief? To many people, the religion that you believe in simply does not make sense.

Edwin Goodenough, a scholar of religions, studied many cultures and noticed that in most of them, the feeling of having lost one's faith was as real as losing a leg or a hand. I hope you're happy praying someone lose their faith, and I pray that it never works should someone do it to you.

God is not tangible. The stories in the Bible are folklore and fairytales. I don't like having to be told I have to believe in God cuz it's in a book that offers no proof of his existence. Plus, spreading the word of god has generated much misery among the peoples of the world JOIN OR BE EXTERMINATED!

If God did exist, no one could possibly be made to suffer such terrible spelling and grammar as you do. No merciful God would allow such suffering and pain in the world. Therefore, God must not exist.

there isent much to lose. the only thing that i can think of is that there might be a little time wasted from going to church, but it isent really wasted because there is a valubal experience going to church. it is also another thing that you could talk about with somebody. its a good conversation maker.
