yes, if she has not started the metapausal period in her life, she should still be able to although birth defects are more of a risk in older women, but certainly she could have a healthy baby

The first 2 answers are incorrect. Your 45 grandmother can have a child, but it's highly unlikely she will concieve, unless she has help from science. She is most likey having menapause now and willnot produce any more eggs. I am 54 year old man and have only heard of a few exceptions to this....one women was 59 and had a natural childbirth. The one in Italy over 60 was helped along by some wierd help from a doctor.

Practicly speaking, it depens if she still has her periods. Then she also have to consider that she'll be 65 when her child will turn 20...
