Should and will the Iraqis forget about the calamities, atrocities, assassinations, suicide and car bombings against other Iraqis...especially the murdered innocent women & children (in violation of the Q'uran)?
Why limit your question to US soldiers? It is noticible that you failed, or chose, to site specific examples and that the US has taken action against soldiers accused of crimes against Iraqi civilians.

They shouldn't "forget". But they should be reminded that not all soldiers are there to do harm. In fact, a great many are there to help out the Iraqis.. Rebuilding their infrastructure, sewers, etc... And those that do indeed do harm should be held accountable. Their actions are a shame to all humanity.

Oh and i guess we should forget about all of the soldiers and civilians beheaded on television. Sorry my friend, but you need to be a little more explicit in your questions. How about some examples? If you mean the soldiers under investigation for rape, than you have to realize that there are many soldiers here, and one bad example is not representative of the entire US military. In my opinion, you should visit the country and see it for yourself.
