I don't want anybody to think i'm racist, but i once drove through luton and at the traffic lights realised that people were looking at me strange. I then realised that i was the only white person there!I know it's not like that all over Luton, but i was a little taken back and every time i someone mentions Luton i think of that!

Luton is generally a depressing place. Every time I've been there, it's completely gray & urban. I think it also reflects on the people of Luton & everyone seems pretty miserable.

It always had a reputation of being quite rough when I was growing up.
Also, met some Luton fans on holiday once and they didn't do the place any favours!

Well the only time i go there is to get a plane. I have found the staff at the train station a little down trodden, and not that helpful. That maybe the rot of the town spreading over to the public. The town needs a boost, the people need hope.

It does have a bad reputation, but I cannot tell you if it is deserved. My friend went to uni there, and she said it was scary. It is very multicultural, and I think some people find that intimidating.

I used to work there occasionally and didn't really like it very much. But then I found this brilliant restaurant and now feel its not so bad after all.
