say it back to them a couple times. For instance:

Nice to meet you ______.
_________ what do you think?

Etc, etc.

Repetition creates retention.

What helps me to remember someones name is to give them a nickname.

For example, when I met a new co-worker named Jason, I couldn't ever remember his name so I started calling him Jay, and eventually I had enough people "correct" me which made me remember his name. Even though I still call him Jay, I know his name is Jason, and he knows that I know that. My excuse for calling him Jay is that I'm too lazy to pronounce the second syllable :)

Ask whoever you are talking to for their name. Keep repeating the name in conversation when it fits, and ask their name before they leave your company. Repeat their name a few times. It may work, if not immediately, then later. I tend to have the same problem sometimes.
Good luck!

100 % guarranteed MEMORY Jogger. After, you meet them, picture them in your MIND. Repeat their name. Then, WRITE it DOWN on a piece of paper, put it in your pocket, with your KEYS. Then that night, before you go to bed, Pull out the List with the names & say their name one time, picture the person in your mind & that PERSON's name will be commited to your memory & recall.

It's simple, using the System.

I'm the same way and what works for me is to say their name out loud when I meet them.
