to all person who were in the army who answered this. I liked your answers and thank you. You probably think i'm some punk. I am not. In combat I would have your back. I will think about joining the Iraqi Insurgency. Cannon fodder, why not. I am not bragging about my homies dying, they are in a better place now and I pour out liquor in their name. It's not good if someone dies b/c of something you have done and someone has extracted their revenge on your homies and family, it's torture, that is why I say that.

They won't let you join? Best news I've heard in a month! Do you even have the most remote of an idea why they won't let you join?
Let's not even try to point out the obvious that you allude to having committed felonies....automatic rejection from military service. Military service is not about being sneaky, about not jumping if something alarming happens and it damn sure isn't about boasting that you are responsible for your homies having died for something you have done. And don't you dare attempt to equate that what you did to cause the death of others as... "happens in the army".
Military service is about service, sacrifice, commitment and dedication. It requires the ability and willingness to obey lawful orders, even if you don't agree with those orders. Kind of like being a law abiding citizen, which you have already proclaimed you are not.
I'm not going to tell you how sorry I am about how your life have turned out. How society has failed you, that I wish it were different and that you should be allowed to join the honorable men and women who serve our country. You don't care, don't want to hear it and wouldn't believe it any way. Not to mention I'd be lying if I said it.
I'm no bleed heart democratic liberal who wants to make everything right in the world. I am a realist. You say you want to kill or be killed. Again, that's not what the army is looking for. I imagine that you will eventually succeed in achieving one or both of these goals.
Plan on another career other than military service.
And yes, I have served in the Army.

The US Army is not a terrorist organization. It is an arm of the US Government tasked with military operations. The training to be a soldier consists of learning tactical skills and following orders from superiors. You cannot make up your own rules, and the way you are thinking makes you more of a candidate for a terrorist organization than the Army. A successful candidate for combat knows how to survive, not die. Any idiot can get killed by going in harms way. It takes knowledge and skill to survive and come back tomorrow to fight again. Wanting to kill makes you a sociopath. A good soldier never wants to kill, but will when it becomes necessary to survive in battle. A good soldier loves peace and hates war. There are plenty of "Rambo" style "wannabes" that want to go to battle. However they are nothing but a liability and future bad press for the professional Army. I survived two wars and have retired from the Army with a lifetime pension by adhering to the values I have explained. If you are so intent on proving your masculinity by Being in combat, than you have some real basic issues to work on.

Because guys like you try to be Rambo and get everyone else killed. You said it yourself your homies died because of something you did. You are dangerous man, and I don't mean that in a good way either. You react before you think. Granted in a firefight there isn't much time to do it, but instinctively you do it. That is an instinct you will never have. Don't mean to come down on you like this but I'm just being real. You are the solo type and being in the military requires you to be a team member.

Here is some advice. Grow up, finish high school and when you are an adult, 18, you can join the military. But i do have a favor to ask of you, drop your little gangster attitude that you seem to have. I am currently in Iraq now and I would not want someone with your attitude within a thousand miles of me in a combat situation. You would be the first one to run away when we get ambushed, trust me, you would. You have no idea about caring for your fellow soldiers, you have to have honor and you seemingly have none. And what training do you speak of? If you go to basic training and AIT, than you have the training. I spent 20 weeks in basic and AIT to learn to be a combat MP. I have the training necessary, not you, please grow up.

They won't let you in because you're 14. Wait 3-4 four years, graduate high school and then try. If you pass your GED then you can join when you're 17. But no sooner, and not without you high school diploma. Also, if you already have a record, they probably won't take you. Unless you can get your record sealed. They don't take felons in the Military.

Boot camp is in basic terms so long (8 weeks for military, i think of), and it is easy to purely lose plenty weight in that element physique. If, on the top of boot camp, you're actually unable to fulfill the person-friendly wellness standards, you're despatched to a remedial wellness class. i've got self belief you have a month to bypass this class, yet i might desire to be incorrect on the size of time. in case you do no longer bypass the wellness standards then, you're discharged. I technically have allergies, yet I not often use my inhaler. inspite of that, the Air rigidity won't enable me function a Linguist, inspite of the undeniable fact that it extremely is a intense call for place. in case you go on a militia website, or maybe doa google seek, you will locate exaclty what they assume you to do by applying the top of boot camp. in case you surely need to connect, i might recommend coaching your self. objective to fulfill the final week wellness objectives formerly you even go in; that's what my ultimate chum did and, as a result, did no longer suggestions boot camp in any respect.

You answered your own question, not counting the fact that you are only 14 (if true, you are not legally able to enter into a contract.)
Serving in the military is one of the highest, individual honors you can give of yourself to your country.
It is not about being sneaky, killing or being killed. It is about serving your country in it's defense.
If you want to be killed, I would suggest you seek help, and fast.

Hezbollah and the Iraqi insurgency will let you join.
You're a little too young for the US military.
I think.
Not really sure.
