I had laparoscopic gall bladder surgery and my gall bladder was removed. This was a few months ago and my wounds are all healed. They are clean cuts, but my skin is very fair and the scars are bright red. The scars are still tender. Is there any topical ointment I can apply that would help reduce tenderness and red color?

Vitamin E oil helps. There are also commercial scar formuas on the market you can try.

Use Anti-Marks Cream.. or Try Loreal Product...
I think it will be diminished in later on itself.. you need some patience till new tissues to form on the scar..

try using Hirodoid it's a German brand it worked for me....it's not that pricey
