Take him to dinner. To a music venue that he likes. And spend the rest of the evening with him like you have before. Make it special and easy for him. If he wants to drink designat yourself as the driver. Make it as fun for him as you would wish for yourself.
Don't over do it and 'poor' on the love. Keep things normal.
