Dayton Job Corps?

Question

I have a friend who will be going to Job Corps in Dayton, Ohio.
And i'm thinking about joining her.
I was wondering how it is and how it works
Is anyone from there??
Is it really for bad kids??
Does it really help?
How did it help you?
What is the best trade to do? (Female)
Do the teachers give you one-on-one attention?
You don't actually have to be from this Job corps to answer
But Please Help!!

I went to the Reno job corps back in 1996 and i have to say that I learned alot from it. I made some great friends there some of whom i am still really close too. You get out of it what you put into it. If you go there wanting to learn and yet still have some fun then you will have the time of your life. I highly recommend the program.

Edit to add: I was in the security program for a bit then i tried nursing and carpentry, I wanted to see what i could do. I also received my G.E.D. As for the kids where ever you go you will always have your bad seeds but that is when you need to use you head and think for yourself.

I went to one here in Tucson, Az and if you are one who gets caught up in drama and **** like that stay far away because it will suck you and its hard to get out. Its great for people who are level headed and very determined. I had alot of trouble bing there it wasn't for me. I would go on the tours they offer talk to some ofthe students there and see what the general vibe is that you get from the place. Take your time and make sure its something you really want to do. As for the trades they offer I am not sure what yours offers. But the ones here offered Retails Sales and Nurses Aide training which was what alot of these women out for here.
