its always the same isnt it you hang round with your mate for years and as soon as they meet someone its like see ya, they dont care if your going out or want to go out. but when it all falls apart who do they want yes you! just be there for them and no i told you so's no matter how hard it is.

Yeh i would be there for them! My mate has ditched her friends for her boyf but me and friends will always be here when things do go wrong but i would like to think i cant

Yes, you should be there for them. Ring them occasionally to keep in touch. YOU may need THEM one day too! If you really need them I'm sure they'd be there for you.
If not - sod 'em all - find yourself a new friend!

yes because that is what friends do, but i would also tell him/her that is wasn't nice to be ignored. boy- and girlfriends come and go but very good friends are rare.
