I'd say a lot of it has to do with the cutlure that we live in and the icons or role models that we have. I would say that the media (hollywood, radio, tv) has a profound effect on us. We imitate hollywood all the time. Guys should care about what's inside though because they need to wake up and realize that looks are going to fade with time and the only that's left is a person's inner beauty and personality.

Granted, there are some guys out there who just want sex. However, most mature guys may be interested in you physically, but if what is on the inside doesn't measure up, looks can't keep one interested.

Let me ask you this question if you had the choice between two guys both with great personalities but one was model material and well endowed or an average guy which would you choose. go ahead and lie but women aren't that much different. My question exactly.And even when they say that's not the case you always see them looking.and staring admiring what they see.Why can't a guy be interested in a female who is strong and beautiful mentally too?Don't they know that they are the most faithfula nd bring more to marriages and help you to grow as a person?But of course what can you expect?This is a sex driven world And (and this goes especiall for black people-) light skin, long haired, big breasted, big butted ,girls fuel that sexual desire.So the only chance we have at grabbing a guy is being friends first I guess.I'm not mad about this though.I strongly believe that evry thing happens for a reason and if he's not meant for you them he's just not meant for you.

Well, guys do care about personalities. I mean maybe at first glance for some they do but later on what's important is the personality. I think a hot guy who has really hot gf's but they treat him like crap will leave that gf for her personality. He might then find a not-so-good-looking girl and fall in love with her for her charm and inner beauty. Don't judge guys too quckly...

PS: a side comment to "you and me" right above me. I'm 6'4" and I LOVE tall girls. I can look them in the eye when I talk to them. It doesn't happen very often otherwise. I'd say approach the taller guys. You'll never now how much of a thrill it really could be for them.

98% of guys are superficial and care only for external beauty.

There are women in my family who are grossly overweight and not very attractive who have husbands I would classify as 'out of their league'. It seems rare, but there are some men who value inner beauty.

Actually I'm attracted to intelligent females because they are more interesting in and out of bed. Also it's good to find someone one you are just as much friends with as lover because people don't spend their entire time together in bed. I like talking over diner, hanging out watching a movie and lots of other things that don't involve sex. Just sitting looking into her eyes is nice.
