how does priceline.com work ?

u put down ur own price on a ticket... .. but what is the catch ??
has anyone tried it ?

Yes, I've tried Priceline for a car rental and got a great convertible for cheap bucks. As for airline tickets, you may get a plane ticket with weird times, say late at night and you'll have to accept the times/flights that they give you for the price you say. I'd low ball them big time by about 50% off the rate you'd find online and see if one will accept that cost or not. If they turn you down, do it again with a price at say 40% off. I head to iBtraveling.com to see all the flight prices and travel rates to compare prices. Wish you luck!

You don't think you can set the time of day, and also you can't get your money back if you cancel. It's good, if you know your going for sure.
