i have an ear infection, and no i havent went to the doctor yet, but last night i couldnt sleep and i had green crap coming outof my ear. it got all pver my pillow. it hurts so bad. i cant sleep tonight either and it is 3:34 am and i need some help! how can i go to sleep? i took pain pills and everything else like a hot towel and placed it on my ear, but it hurts so bad. my mom poured peroxide in it yesterday and that hurt, but it stopped the pain for about 20 minutes afterwards. i am so tired an di want to sleep. how can i make the pain go away long enough for even three hours of sleep. im 14 and i really need to get some sleep this week. school starts soon and i dont want to sleep the first four days of school, or have to stay home because of pain. HELP!~!~!~!

Hey you must go to the doctor or it may not go away and you may lose your hearing . I DID !! by doing like you are. GO TO THE DOCTOR. He or she will give you and antibiotic , ear drops, along with a strong pain med. (if you ask for it).

There is now an over the counter medication that reduces the pain from an ear infection. I dont remember the name but any drug store should carry it. It will help until you see the Dr. The green goo coming out of you ear is from the ear drum rupturing. My daughter had this problem once. Only anti biotics will get rid of it and the longer it goes on the more of a chance you take with losing some hearing.

Of cousre you must see a dr right away, but with ear aches what will help eith the pain is tylenol, or ibuprofen, instead of a warm towel, you can put rice in a sock, tie a knot in it and put it in the microwave for a few minutes. DO NOT GET IT TO HOT! Keep yur head elevated, that will help if you have a throbbing pain in it, and place the sock with rice on your ear. I know it sounds funny but it really does help, and is safer than a heating pad. Works great for any heat needs because it conforms to your body. BUT GO TO THE DOCTOR !!!

You have a bad bacterial infection of the ear. You need a course of strong antibiotics. If the infection is as bad as you are making it to be then you may need intramuscular antibiotics. Either way you should see a doctor for a prescription. No point suffering like that and it may be life threatenning if the infection is allowed to spread. The antibiotics if correctly prescribed, should provide relief in a matter of hours and will cure the problem.

Honey, you need to get yourself to a doctor immediately. Even an emergency room will give you something for the pain. We all know it is the most terrible of pains and you must get treatment.

The FIRST thing you should've done is going to a doctor, he would've told you that YOU NEED AN ANTIBIOTICS INJETCTION and the he would've given it to you. Ear infections needs treatment, usually taking from 2 TO 4 NEEDLES, ONE PER DAY. PAIN KILLERS WONT DO ANYTHING UNLESS YOU GET ANTIBIOTICS SHOTS IN YOU, SO HURRY THE F**K UP AND GET TO A DOCTOR BEFORE YOU GET A LABERINTITIS OR SOMETHING WORSE. Take care, love always.

They will treat you for free, if you do not have insurance, as this could become life threatening.
IF YOUR MOM WON'T TAKE YOU CALL 911, THEY WILL TAKE YOU TO THE ER.
DO IT NOW.
Most of the people who have answered have some medical background, and EVERY ONE OF US has said to get treatment right away, you could wait to morning, but I doubt you have an ENT doctor to call, so you will wind up in the ER and now is the best time to do that. This is the first time I have seen everyone answering agree, so please get it treated.

Ok hon, i know this is really odd but i have actually done and it works have your mom or some one who smokes blow smoke in your year and put a piece of cotton in to stop the smoke from comming out its weird but it works. My grandma use to do it to me all the time and it really helped with ear infections

Go to the doctor or hospital asap. You're going to need an antibiotic for the infection to clear it up. Peroxide will not do it, and you risk losing your hearing or worse.

Hey RUN to the nearest ENT Dr RUN Run you could develop an ascending infection that could travel to the Brain and create a Brain abscess ... coma and death could result go go go NOW!
Sorry to be an Alarmist but I have a medical background and i have seen cases just like what you described go go go !
