Christianity. Jesus said, many will come after him claiming to be the prophet or messiah, do not believe them for i am the only way, the truth and the light. Trust in me.
Note : Mohammad came after Jesus and claim to be a Prophet and he is taking over where Jesus left off proclaiming that Muslim is next religion after Christianity.

For those contending that Islam is the best or only religion. Just remember 9/11! Those of the Islamic faith in action! The Bible tells us what to believe, in Whom, and the way of salvation. Some of what the Bible teaches includes..to pray, be baptized, abstain, as best we can, from sinning (see the ten commandments.) put our faith & trust in God. Few, if any religions... Muslim, Buddhist, Seienceology, Hindu teach that salvation is because one (in the Christian view, Jesus) died to take away their sins. Many other religions place salvation on money, homage, doing this or not doing that. They speak little or nothing of salvation being made possible through the merit, worthiness, sacrifice of another. Our own good works are good and encouraged but do not save us. Salvation is by the grace of God through faith. If we can save ourselves we would become our own savior and we arn't capable of our own, or that of anothers, salvation. Jesus was God incarnate, was sinless, and sacraficed His life so to input salvation for mankind. Read the Bible. Ask questions. Investigate. And find the answer.

I'm sure you are reading all of these answers, maybe even laughing at some of them.
Honestly........there is no answer.
organized religion itself is evil......just look at people of deferent religious beliefs fighting with each other, on who is right.
If you really want to know what is it that you are intended to do on this earth with the life you have........ You will not find the answer in any "holy book" or get it from any "holy man"
You will find it in yourself.
It is obvious that us as humans are deferent and special on the planet.
Since the down of man......we have believed in something greater then us. It can be seen all over the world and in all times. Religions of all types have come and gone, but one thing stays the same.......we believe.
So for your answer.......look into yourself......what is it that you feel inside of you. Start with your conscious. While people read books and listen to "leaders" to find out what is right and what is wrong......they sometimes overlook that it is already built in inside of us. From a very early age, before we even learn to speak. We have a level of conscious, a since telling us what is good and what is bad. Your conscious is one of many "built in guides" left by (for the lack of a better word) God. Your emotions are a key.......when god talks to you, it won't be in words.....it would be in a form of emotions. It's hard to explain.........Just know that you were born with allot more guidance from God then you may believe.
As far as your role on this earth goes....... Just live.....experience all that you can. Learn as much as you can. Open you mind, and your heart.
Just the fact that you and everyone else is alive......is a miracle........so do just that......LIVE.
Good luck in your gurney, and may we all see each other on the other side ;-)

From age 27, I went with bible study.
Moses was 2513 after Adam, he died 2553 after Adam Deut.34:7; and this was 1513 before Christ. Genesis covered down to the death of Joseph 2368 after Adam Gen.50:26; and 1698 before Christ.
Abraham was age 75, 430 years before Moses at age 80.
EXo.7:7; 12:40,41;
John 17:3,5,24; Jesus was with God before the world was.
Job 38:4-7; The angels saw earth become the focus for habitation.
1Cor,15:22; As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. Rev.20:1-6,12,13; His reign of 1000 years supports this, along with Heb.9:27; It is appointed unto man once to die and after this the judgement. Rom.14:9-12; 2Cor,5:10;
John 3:16; For God so loved the world goes back to all lost in Eden and all saved by Christ 1000 year reign, I find bible study really interesting. so the bible is my choice and none of the religions that use the bible as a religious fomula to select their belief out of and discard the balance.

You need to figure this out for yourself rather than asking other people, and the way to do it is this:
Find a religion where the holy book isn't written and printed by human beings, but is instead given by a god. Find a religion where the rules and dogma aren't written down and disseminated by human beings, but by a god. Find a religion where the churches aren't built by human beings, but by a god.
Of course, you won't find one, because *all* religions are man-made, every single one.
Gods are imaginary.

You will get many answers to this from proponents of all sorts of religions. My answer: none of them. It is not possible for any religion to prove that it is the correct one, and absent such proof, there is no point in spending time and effort fussing with one. And by proof, I do not mean some reference to the religion's "holy books": I mean a repeatable experiment that you can demonstrate to someone else to show someone why you bought into it.

Dear Brother,
Don't take an answer from people, take it from God.
God says in the Holy Quran:
"The religion before Allah is Islam" (=submission to Allah)
& God says also:
"if anyone desires a religion other than Islam, never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost" (= all spiritual good).
for more information you can always email me.

Every religion in the world has it's rituals of how to get to heaven, nirvana, cloud 9, or what ever. Jesus is the only person who said, "I AM THE WAY."
