There is no point of complaining the gov is unfair. U should plan well and earned enough $$$ before u are married. U know that u need $$$ to raise your family..
What u can do now is to put the children into the cares of your relatives, u and your wife both have to go woking. U need to find a job which gives your more salary.. If your education level is the problem, go to get a useful certificate. Do whatever u can do find a well-paid job, so u can enjoy more time with your family in the coming years.
Anther choice is to apply incentives and get help from the gov.. Try your luck lol

Gosh I really admire you ... I spent quite a few years blaming people and my government for the way my life was going till my mom died suddenly and I decided to take charge of my life. I was married at 20, my husband and I spent the first 5 years of marriage making a pittance but we didnt let that screw up our marriage, we worked our butts off. Around 3-4 years back we got the opportunity to go to another country where the money was good but the quality of life was very regimented (was an Arab country) ... we declined, people called us fools. We went on to start small businesses and today .. we dont have a lot but we have enough for basics and we have finally been able to afford a child after 10 years of marriage. YOU HAVE TO DO ANYTHING TO MAKE YOUR FAMILY SURVIVE!!! At the end of the day its all you got, the kids will grow up with a dad thats hardworking and committed to them, they will bring it all back to you .... I did all this and I also take care of my aging dad, so yes dude its all about the family because $hit will keep happening. I wish I could help you, I live in a developing country myself so not much to offer here (India), all I can say is keep your head up high, think of the kids and keep moving on. God bless u

Alberto USA is a land of opportunities and if you are not here try anyway you can to make it here because in this country your children will get medical attention and you can make more than 50$ a week that's a definite. If you will wait until your papers come then good luck. My opinion as a mother you do what you have to do to save your family to feed your children and support your wife. I dont know how your faith is but trust me if you pray hard the Lord will open that door which you have been waiting for.
God Bless and good luck!

I think you should get more than one job. Or, if possible, take night classes at a college to have the qualifications for a better job. Try and get food stamps and financial aid from the government if you can. Make sure your kids' teachers know that you can't afford the supplies, and ask it they can be given to your kids. I am not here to make racial slurs, I understand that life is very hard in this country, especially if you are foreign. Good luck and take care. =)

Yes I would. I would NOT march through the streets. I would NOT demand anything. I would NOT bring attention to myself and the fact that I broke the law. I would TRY to get things done the legal way. I would also learn the language that the people of that nation spoke. That is what I would do...
The thing that pisses me off most, is that the illegal aliens act like they are owed citizenship. They are not owed anything.
tinkerbell- That is the exact attitude that I am talking about. Illegal aliens are owed NOTHING. If you can't afford to feed your kids, then don't ******* have them. How stupid is that? I can't afford a brand new car, so I don't have one. I could go finance one, but why when I cannot afford it? People who have kids when they cannot afford them should be mandatorily sterilized, and their children taken away.

First, I'd quit having babies until I was able to afford them! And if you are from Mexico, you need to gather in the millions in the streets and make your demands to YOUR government, not ours. You can change things in your country, just like the Americans did during the Revolutionary War. Illegally entering this country and stealing services from the American taxpayers is not the answer, changing the corrupt ways of the government in your country is the way. I have no racial slurs for you, I have half-Mexican cousins and a full Mexican aunt. I just think it's time you stood up for yourself in your own country and it's time for illegals to quit invading our country. Like I said, dude, don't have kids until you can afford them.

I suppose I'd be tearing my hair out trying to figure how to make ends meet. But your point is well taken. The only way Mexicans make it here is that they work together, and help each other. You have teenagers working full time or part time and taking the paycheck home to mama INTACT. You have kids who understand that it's OK for their clothes and their toys to come from thrift shops, and count themselves lucky that they have clothes and toys. And you have people working two or three jobs; a Mexican-American friend of mine is working two part-time jobs and ALSO going to school. And she's not particularly unusual in that. She lives with her mom and little sister (Dad's dead), and she does everything she can to help. They don't force her; it's just natural to her.

It's quite unfair to blame the government for all of that. If you can't earn enough money for your family, might as well change your lifestyle. Try to lessen the money you spend on unnecessary things. Buy only the things that your family really needs. I am not quite sure how far $50 would go, but might as well be wise on how you spend it.

Kill myself!! No really if it is in reference to you and your not working, you are able to afford to be on the internet, right? I would do what ever it takes to make or help my family survive. I wouldn't stand on street corners waiting for hand outs. Those people that do that should be out finding work instead of trying get money from people that are working.

I'd live in a place where it was affordable to live in $50 a week. I've heard of places on this Earth were you can get groceries for a month with $5.
