You are talking as if only losers convert to Muslims....Look at the History ....Muslims had a leading civilization which had enlightened the world
when they were true good Muslims.Michael Jackson didn't convert
to Muslim by the way....

You need to understand the difference between Islam and the Nation of Islam. They are truly different. Orthodox Islam accepts NOI teachings as heretic because they believe that Allah came to earth in human form (about 100 years ago) and they teach that white people were created by the Devil (if I'm not mistaken).

NOI is a kind of black-power movement. For 'Clay' (please give the man the respect he deserves and call him the name that he prefers), the NOI was crucial in the formation of his identity as an African-American. Ali abandoned the NOI for more orthodox Sunni Islam, but only much later. About Tyson, I don't know. About Jackson, I've only heard speculation that he is truly a member of the NOI - but again, it's the NOI we're talking about here - not mainstream Islam.

micheal jackson isn't a muslim...he's a freak show...who knows WHAT tyson thinks, if anything? he's taken what the creator gave him and squandered it...he became a disgrace, inside the ring and out...
neither of them deserve to be mentioned in the same paragraph as the great muhammad ali...there are few people who, through their whole lives, walk the talk...ali always has...he's consistently shown himself to be more talented, more moral, more intelligent (don't confuse a lack of formal education with a lack of intelligence-witness bush and ann coulter, for starters)and more honest than those who were his detractors...try to imagine the times he was living thru as a young professional fighter, the society and culture in this country...the black muslim movement was, along with the civil rights movement, about the only group that cared even a little about black people...

Umm, if I remember right, MICHAEL Jackson is actually a Jehovah's Witness by upbringing, and he still follows most of their tenets- no alcohol, observing only Easter as a holy day, playing with little boys (sorry, just a JOKE, no insult meant to Witnesses, my younger brother is one). He only uses American Black Muslims as bodyguards to prove he's really not trying to be white. As to the other two, go to the library.

I'm not sure who you mean when you say "Clay". Do you mean the one aka Mohammad Ali? If so, it may be because he wasn't "worshipping no white Jesus". Although, I am not certain.

Tyson was in prison, beat his wife, committed rape (allegedly?), and bit off his opponents ear. I have no idea why he became a Muslim.
