My sis in law of 17 and bro in law of 12 are really close but things have changed a little as the 17 year old allows her bro to even sit on her lap.It seems to be ok but she used to put her head on his head and wrap her hands round his hips but i think even that's normal.Anyway i think it's a little peculiar as i think that since she is restricted a lot at home by her parents i feel that she might be exploring or things like that. I feel like telling this to my wife but i don't think she wud take it in a big way. I have been asking these queries in various ways but the replies have failed to produce anything productive.Im actually scared to alert about these to my wife as it cud lead to sibling disharmony and family problems..so pls tell me what to do...(Sometimes they even sleep on the same bed and when they watch tv the girl sleeps on the boy's laps)
Just think about these and let me know the best action that i can take and also suggest me a surveillance method pls...tks very much..

Well, I have 3 girls and 1 boy. The oldest is 30 and the youngest is 20 The boy is the youngest. Some of the "coddling" is normal. My girls always hugged their brother. Sometimes they layed their head in his lap but nothing ever "weird". It's probably just bonding. Maybe you should watch them awhile longer before saying anything negative to your wife. OR you could go ahead and tell your wife what's on your mind and see what she thinks. As long as you don't say it in a harsh way she will probably understand you are just concerned.

uhhh considering the ages in question here, alert wife now, just nonchalently ask her about it everything was fine until you said they sleep in the same bed, thats a little weird, i never even shared a room with my bro as much as i love that little devil most girls like having there privacy especially at 17

You're getting the "vibe" noone else wants to feel or acknowledge. Please protect these children. Have a family meeting and get it out in the open. The family problems you worry about will one day be insurmountable, if you dont take action now. Please. I sincerely hope you take this advice.

It seems like they're just very close. I'd let it go.

at that age it sounds suspicious. talk to your wife, and site her down and tell her you are serious.
