its it really fair for my ex gf to ask me to give 100% to becoming good friends now, when 3 months ago she wouldnt give 100% to working things out and staying together? what should i do?

Sounds like she wants to control you. Don't give 100%, because you need to look out for yourself, too. Plus, what makes you think she'll give 100% if she wasn't all there for the actual relationship. Just be the friend that you know how to be and whatever happens happens.

Its not fair, but it makes you look better than her if you do put 100% into the friendship, you never know she may see it as a good thing and come back!

People change...and often it takes losing someone to bring apon change. So maybe 3 months ago she had you at her fingertips...and now that she's lost you she realizes what she's missing...so I say give her a chance...but don't put all your cookies back in that basket to soon.

You shouldn't have to give 100%...she's just being selfish. Doesnt' want you moving on.

No, it's not fair. Now she's not your girlfriend, she doesn't get to call the shots any more. I guess you'd better explain that to her.
