You cannot possibly even try and consider trying to please them all, because speaking from experience it does not work. Not only do people start resenting you as a person, they also treat you like a doormat.
Not only will you run yourself into the ground, the more you try to please, the more family expects.
For god sake don't get yourself into to this situation.Find your boundaries, learn to say no,because trust me,if you don't not only will you become very ill,you lose site of who you are and what you want.
I lost my sense of who I was ,and what I wanted in life.Because as women we lose site of ourselves through over giving of our time and energy.
Trust me nobody will respect you they will resent and use you.
When you start saying NO,expect alot of negativity from the ones you love as the are the harshest judges.
Stand firm, and keep to your word.Think of you and what you want ,be firm.
You are not being selfish, but when people see change,it threatens them and they will try everything with in there power to stop you from becoming the whole person that you have every right to be.

The truth is that there is almost very few way to please everyone.
let's get a typical event, wedding. How you guys can satisfy every one in the family. From wedding dress , tiara, guest book, www.idearibbon.com , wedding favors, favor bags , color is the key. However, everyone hhas its own key, but to open different door. There is one way actually there but no one want to follow.

Good question. It is why we, who are pleaser's end up depressed. It is a no win situation for sure. Guess we just have to start disappointing them, so we don't lose who we are and why we love them.

Not anymore. I used to but it wore me out. So I finally decided I wasn't going to do it anymore and I stuck to it. It upset my family at first but now they're used to it.

The only person I please is myself. If others don't like it, too bad. You will never please all the people at the same time.
