Hi John B baby. It's great to see how easy it is to provoke some people. Cool down John B, and get back on the sloop.

This is a very old play of words, that comes back every time.
There is no way of judging military intelligence, because you only hear about its failures, not about its successes. You would be astonished!

Military Intelligence has been around for centuries. The Assyrians were masters at it, combining an excellent spy network with some of the most brutally efficient psychological warfare of the time to sustain their empire. Every military force worth the name has had some sort of intelligence network in place, from the French Resistance in the Second World War to the OSS working for the Americans in the same time period.

While a dedicated pacifist stance may blind an individual enough to make ill-advised attempts at coarse humor on everything military, such is really only the public display of ignorance and intolerance. That does not serve pacifism at all. A good look at history is in order, preferably at your local library, followed by a careful reassessment on what is tasteful and effective in promoting pacifism as a worthwhile personal philosophy.

Military Intelligence? Where? Not only is this a contradiction in terms, I think somebody made it up. I cannot believe all these highly paid military trained people in the pentagon, and the cia fell asleep at their posts, and let terrorists just come in , and destroy our American way of life. Does anyone else think this is embarrasing besides me? It seems as though their is noone to blame for all the fiasco's that have plauged our country. When the government receives a notification with intelligence that outlines some sort of possible treat to our security, it would behoove them to get on it then not the next day.

I agree that British intellegence is one of the best. However, Mosad, the Israeli version is also up there. You won't hear about the successes because you only see the guys on the front getting their hands dirty. You hear the bad because every one loves to have someone to blame.

Intellegence gathered from human sources is the best. There is only so much a picture taken from a saterlite or plane can tell you. Every person either has price or has something that will break or manipulate them. That is why the Brits are masters at this. They have so much experience with it, most notably in Northern Ireland.

There are always several hundred facets two each military scenario that the public are not part of. Basically we are part of mushroom management, "kept in the dark and fed bull-sh.t, but it comes from both sides of every dispute and argument. Military intelligence comes from myriad sources, including both sides of every scenario. We the mushrooms, see only what the media and the various factions involved in disputes wish us to see, we never see the whole picture and if we did, we would understand the need for so called, "military intelligence." Aristotle's ancient Greek city system pales, compared to the intricacies of your misunderstanding of a perfect "Military" system, a system that is imformed beyond your wildest dreams.

It is, of course, an old joke, but in fact the military goes to great lengths to learn the nature of an adversary's position, and sometimes does so with startling success. For an excellent example as seen from the other side, read the reference account of the US attack on Iraq in 1991.

That's a military in-joke, as intel does go wrong regularly. The only qualification that you need to get into the intelligence job is to be able to spell "intelligence".

Why don't you get your own material, because your half @$$ attempt towards being funny is old and outdated. You're not Danny DeVito, and you probably had to have help understanding half of Renaisance Man when you got done watching it. Only thing worse than a typical smart@$$ is one like you who is neither funny or original.
