no i'm not some pedophile creep or some dude that sits in front of the comp all day. It's more of I met this girl, talked to her a lot, moved, so only really talk online, and now I'm realizing I'm a moron for even trying to continue anything with that as the distance is a *****. Insecurities and all aside, I'm not a whole lot dif online then in real life, but thanks for trying to knock me down a notch friends :)

Your not a moron its just that the girls on the ent r a lot more free! lol we can do whatever we want and be as sexy adn nuaghty as we want without having ne pressure!
What I think you need to do is get a g/f! I talk to a lot of boys and I think its rlly fun to mess with them so I know that iits rlly comfussing fro you guys.
But we just wanna have fun and if a girl is dating over the net shi is probably to ugly to get a boyfriend in real life! But I have gotten attached to a lot of guys that I don't know and its just a bad sitch cuz they don't actually mean ne thing!
So do somethign to take ur mind off all these girls who r messing with you or just ugly!
Keep that in mind and ne girl would b lucky to have u so find the one you actually know and like and see if it works out! She will probably love you! you sound rlly nice so just have faith that you will find a great girl who isn't on the net!

Cause you don't see the real person of the ones you talk to online. People talk differently online, they are more outgoing than they would in a normal conversation. Also, they might be lying or altering something of their life to you. A lot of people probably feel this way too.

Because you get to see the inner side of someone online (supposing their saying the truth about themselves),because they may open up about stuff because they know they might never get to met u, and when u meet someone in real life u might just be attracted to them but might not have that much in common with.

well, that is interesting. It is true, i love meeting friends online, and I can chat to them about anything. Well, i think it is easier to communicate because your not actually face to face with the person your talking to online, whereas in real life you are, and it might be for people harder to communicate while with a person.

i don't think that makes you a moron...i chat with a guy online and he is very emotionally attached to me....i don't think its a bad thing, maybe girls online are more accepting than girls you meet in life...as long as you are not hurting anyone, i don't see a problem...who knows maybe an online friendship will lead to one in real life...

You're not a moron. It's probably because you felt a powerful connection to her. Online, you get to know a person faster because that's all you got, so it's common for this to happen.

Because you aren't meeting a real person when online (people exagerate their good points and don't bring up their bad ones while chatting on the internet), it's easier to plug them into your idea of the "perfect woman".

online you can be anyone
but sooner or later you have to meet face to face
and that's where you insecurities kick in
you simply don't have wha it takes to talk to women and feel confident
so you hide behind a computer where you easily fall for text messaging
indeed in real life many women would not even come close to you as you are probally needy, possesive and smothering, not to mention creepy since your lack of confidence manifests itself in such manners

Because theres proaly something u love about that girl and she satisgys somethin that sparks u in an ideal girl..dont worry man it has happened to me before, especially when you know that girl for a long time and know them cam and phone wise =( lol.
