I had the best girlfriend anyone can ask. She was beautiful, christian, and people loved her and always wanted to be around her. She was always the top one in the group and always liked me. I decided to give her a try after 1 year of being friends. I fell in love w/ for the first time of my life. We dated for a year and she moved to Seattle, I visited her every other weekend, it was perfect! I loved to be around her she was my heart and my soul. I always thought she loved me more because she gave me so much attention all of the time. Calling me all the time sending me pictures, letters, cards. But I knew I would get hurt somewhere in my heart. One day all of the sudden she stopped picking up the phone. I called her for 3 days straight and decided to drive to seattle 5 hours away around 12 o'clock at night. When I arrived she was outside told me it's over because "God told her" or something bad will happen. Haven't spoke to her since, but i feel the pain =( I WANT MY LIFE BACK! =**(

Supposedly God also told a crazy woman to drown her own children...I think what your girlfriend said is pretty lame to be honest. She is running away from the truth or VERY VERY weird....I'd approach her with caution and your guard up! She really doesn't sound worth persuing if she actually did that to you. There are women out there who continue to love forever. "God" doesn't tell them to stop...

You are young and your heart is having growing pains.
Long distance romances rarely last.
Love that is connected with such pain, isn't true love, what it is, for the first time someone chose you and gave you attention.
Don't ask for your life back, you would be asking for the past......the past is the past. Get involved back in life and next time you love, don't let your whole self be defined by that person.
Another person can never make us happy, we are happy within ourself- if we have someone who adds to that happyness then it is good.
Your heart is maturing for the right love of your life. Your first love will always be special. The last love of your life will be dynomite.
Grieve, then move on. This girl will only be pushing you away if you pursue her. She has moved on in life. You should to.
Give yourself to causes and help others.....you will grow as a person. Eventually you will love again. Deeper and stronger as ever.
If you really trust in your God, then you KNOW HE has plans for you. Trust in that

A breakup can feel like the end of the world sometimes, but it'll get better eventually. Have your cry and then focus on other more productive things that will remind you of her. Don't dwell on your lost love, make friends go out and since it's clear you are a christian pray. It will be ok soon.

I am sorry to hear that buddy. But you must move on. What hurts you can only make you stronger if you overcome it. Remember these words. Get rid of your loneliness by reconnecting with your other friends. Reminisce on your past, all those good times. I am sure they want to hear from you.

Write her one last letter explaining how you feel. If she still does't come around, leave her alone and hope she contacts you.

it would have been nice for god to tell her to tell you that over the phone so you didn't have to drive to seattle to find that out..........
