When meeting people from the net...what's the best way to judge if they are truthful and not just some weirdo?

Don't trust anybody on the net. There is absolutely no way to tell if they are telling the truth.

Sorry, I am marrying the only non-weirdo! :o) lol. Seriously, I did have to trust my instincts... didn't give out my phone number right away, but traded e-mails and chatted to start. It was when I couldn't type enough that I asked for his number. When we talked, and hit it off, we decided to meet in person -- that was about 2 weeks later. Here we are 4 years later -- getting married at the end of this month! :o) good luck to you!

There is only one way to get to know a person online. That is to spend a lot of time with them offline, and use your best instincts and judgement to form a first hand, real-time, real-place grasp of who they are.

You never really know for sure. A camera may tell you the physical. And only meeting that person may tell you the personality.

id say ask one set of questions the first day, then after a week or so ask them again, if they're both the same i'd say they've been truthful, if not.......................... heres a knife do somthing with the knife >.>;;
