No religion is the correct one, and all religions have got it wrong.

There are many major religions in the world, such as Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Judaism, and so on. Within each major religion there can also be many minor religions. For example, within Christianity there is Catholic, Protestant, Anglican and so on. Within Islam there is Shiite, Sunni etc.

In summary there are many hundreds of different religions in the world all with their devoted believers and followers. Talk to any devout religious person and they will almost emphatically insist that their religion is the right one, it’s fact, and any non-believer is doomed.

Commonsense and logic would suggest that if there was any truthful or factual basis to religion, then only one of these religions could be correct, not all of them. However, in my view, it’s highly unlikely that any of these man-made religions bear any resemblance to fact or the truth, and are more likely to be the result of simplistic human intelligence looking for an escape from reality.

There are some 'new thought' churches that take the best from all the religions and philosophies. I like Science of Mind and Religious Science (that is not Christian Science or Scientology) I hear that Unity is similar.

The belief is that God is not a person. God is in everything and everywhere. God created all there is and so what is had to come from God and "God stuff". God created by thought. God is in all of us and available for all of us. Our minds work similar in that thoughts are powerful. How you think manifests how your life is.
We don't beg and beseech when we pray, we pray affirmatively and give thanks because it already is. We need to align ourselves to accept the good that is always there for us.

It doesn't matter what religion a person chooses. People can look at the same thing in different ways but it is still the same thing. I think that it doesn't matter so much what sect, but if you feel the love that God is, and we are, and use it for good. Do it in the way that works best for you!

Why even bother asking this question. Your just going to get a bunch of babbling idiots. Search that out for yourself, but I suggest you try and ask yourself why there are so many? If there is only one that is correct, why doesn't god do a better job of trying to help people follow that one? If your smart you'll come to the rational conclusion that there probably is no right religion.

fred
To stand by the grave of many great founders of religion, great founders such as Mohammed and many of the other outstanding religions of the world. But every one of them has a marked placed where their founder died and is buried and lays there to this day. And as yet, in the natural I have never had the privilege to stand by that open tomb where Christ was laid and the grave could not hold Him. For He was the One Who said, "I lay My life down; no man takes it from Me. I lay it down and I take it up again."
And it's the only religion in the world that can be proved to be correct, is the Christian religion. Our Lord, not only did He die for His people, but He rose again for their justification. And He's ascended on high tonight and sets on the throne of God, and His Spirit lives in His Church with His people, doing the very same things that He did when He was here on earth, carrying on His ministry.

There IS just one religious way that is correct. There is only one way of true worship that is acceptable to God. If you are one of those that say, "it doesn't matter how you worship God, all roads lead to the same place". You are in serious trouble... 'cause you are part of the collective that belongs to SATAN. You are inadvertetly part of false religion!
How can I say that?!
The saying goes " the greatest trick the Devil ever did, was to make the world believe he doesn't exist" That's not the greatest trick, everyone still knows the Devil exists. The greatest trick was to make people believe they worship the Almighty God when in reality they worship the Devil himself. The greatest trick was to remove God's very name from the Bible.

If you go back to the old scrolls where the Bible was translated from, over 7000 times the name of God ,Yahweh (Jehovah) is present. And yet it is no where to be found in your Bible today.

Without God's name present in the Bible, false teachings and false religion happen. For instance making Jesus GOD, where Jesus himself has said many times. The Father (Yahweh-Jehovah) is greater than I (Jesus) am. Worship the Almighty not the son!

The harsh reality is, THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY OF TRUE WORSHIP, Jesus said so and taught man that. IT IS NOT UP TO US AS HUMANS HOW WE SHOULD WORSHIP THE ALMIGHTY, BUT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY OF WORSHIP ACCEPTABLE TO GOD ALMIGHTY.

Jesus foretold that there will be many sects that will be brought into existence, watered down versions of the truth. If one's religious believes contains just one lie (it is false religion), you then belong to that lie, and who is the father and the originator of the lie? SATAN THE DEVIL.

In conclusion: The true religion worship God Almighty using His Holy Name, Jehovah
(Yahweh - Hebrew / Jehovah - English translation)
They know & believe Jesus is His begotten son. They worship God and not Jesus. However they follow Jesus' lead in all his ways, for through the son is the way to the Father.

Perhaps a good thing for you to do, is to investigate. In stead of merely accepting what others have to say. If your life and happiness hangs in the balance, would'nt you prefer to know as much as possible about what it is you're putting your faith into.

For hundreds of years men had faith & believed the earth was flat. How happy are we today that we know the truth.

I don't believe in God however from what I have been able to observe, it seems like the Christian Jehovah's Witnesses are the
closest to what the "correct" religion should be...
I suppose Islam would be the worst...

My view is that, all religions are good.but what matters is that the image of a religion depends upon how one uses it to excel in life.God is an independant force and religion is a way through which we can preach god,so there is no point in looking for good religions

Must there be a one-size-fits-all correct religion?

all religions are based upon the testimony of long dead individuals whose credentials I do not question - what is in question are the many who come after them and falsely claim to have personal knowledge of their teachings - these wolves in sheep's clothing are either fanatics or professional con men types that pretend to have your best interests in mind but always resort to waving books in your face and if that does not work then they use fear to intimidate you - do not accept their word or reduce yourself to their blind faith - all you have upon this earth is you - all you will ever have upon this earth is you - you came alone and you will leave alone - it thus seems clear that the path you should follow lies within you and no where else. When you are ready a living Master will call you, not a long dead one.
