puked in my sleep it wasint food puke i know this nasty it was str8 stomache acid it hit me so hard i sat str8 up and couldint breath it burned so bad i was hitting my bed trying to breath what could have caused this

Could be acid reflux, that happens to me sometimes if I eat certain foods before going to bed. Try taking tums before bed or go see your doctor if it happens often

Try eating at least 2 hours before you lie down in bed. Allow the food to digest. The gastric content that comes back up is corosive, so be careful because this may cause ulcers in the esophagus. You can also get aspiration pneumonia, in which you swallow the vomit and it goes in through the wrong tube going into your lungs. This is probably why it burned when you were trying to breath. Be careful and be safe.

It might have been acid reflux. Like Gerd. Check it out on the net.
You might want to try sleeping on your back a little bit propped up with a pillow or two to avoid this in the future.
My mom struggles with this.

Acid Reflux 100% treatable!! Buy some Prilosec over the counter and you'll be done with it forever! And don't eat big time and lay down to sleep!

I think you need to see a doctor..this could be dangerous. I had a friend who died because he vomited in his sleep and was drunk and didn't wake up..he basically chocked to death...while I don't think that's about to happen to you..I'd definitely get this checked our by a doctor.
