at our local McD's they are doing 1 a week, the penny pinching SoB's
Thing is in the past i was able to pay a quid each and they let me buy an entire set, so i guess you best ask them.

It's fairly random, I think If your little one has already got the one they give him/her, ask for a swap.
You can actually go in and buy them, I think, without getting a Happy Meal. Usually for about £1 each.

began as a small one family store that sold griled burgers untill somone who had a shake meching joined the group and introduced shakes that were so thick they needed a spoon , soo the sales were up and they franshised . the princapal was to seperats you from your money and give the least amout for your dollar and a thick shake. soo they braught in a demented clown and started advertising scams saying they used all beef in there burgers. it grew uncontroled selling permanufactured and pre packaged foor substitute and thick shakes. All in all I would drive twenty miles to go to a In and Out rather than walk to the local McDs
