Yes. But it doesn't mean she isn't talented. It's length of time and experience. I am a stylist and in my experience ...talent is most important....it's my passion! I love doing hair and I'm good at it, because I listen to my clients. If your stylist does not stop, look at you when you are trying to communicate what you want, but instead she starts cutting while you are talking. STOP her and get up and leave. You don't need a reason unless you want to help her in her education with getting and keeping clients.

Happiness is a very broad term to describe the many different degrees of what everyone knows as happiness. The greatest form of happiness can simply be called absolute happiness, a very possible albeit challenging accomplishment. Bliss is a feeling of pleasantness, being at ease and upbeat. Ecstasy is a stupor of happiness, a mindblowing experience, and not even one drugs can give. Its euphoric and beautifully powerful. Trigger is a good way to describe what brings these feelings. First and foremost is the Universe, the plane of existance in which we live in and which has influence over our lives. Happiness in the lower degrees can come from anything, so thats not too important. However, there are too very important moments of happiness a person will feel. One is seeing the person of your life, your treasure, your soulmate if you will. It may not even happen the first time you see the person (although lovee at firsst ssight does exist) but when it triggers, the experience is so powerful, your love and the energy of the universe clashing with time itself that both forces are locked in a state of stasis. In lame man's terms, time actually and quite literally stands still. The phenomenon talked about in movies and romance novels is a factual occurence. What you feel is an onrush of energy and emotions, like experiencing 100 lightning bolts, 1000 bullet trains, 100,000 orgasms, all at once. Like being touched by God, then being sucker punched by him. That is a state of ecstasy, and it lasts somewhere under an hour, but you never forget it. The second moment actually takes up the resst off your life when it begins. Absolute happiness can be accomplished by actually being in a relationship by that person, being loved back. This is my spiritual experience, mystical even. From what Ive experienced, I've created a philosophy that incorporates a lot of what I just told you. It's been welcomed by a few already, so its a promising start for the philosophy of a new generation.

RE:
what really is the difference between a master, senior or jr. stylist at a salon. is it just experience?
I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow, and I've been scheduled with a "junior stylist" does this just refer to how long she has been cutting hair? as compared to a master or senior stylist?

Even if their experience in the field is fifteen years, if they just started with that particular company they have to work up to the top by attending and certifying in classes for color, cutting, and styling.
The more classes they have accomplished through that company, the more seniority they have, hence the titles.
Sometimes they might skip up in title if for some reason the management team is lacking and they have no choice but to hire from within then this would be the exception, but not the most likely circumstance.
