i ran out of contact solution! is there any substitute i can use for it? like water or something??? and i just opened the brand new contacts today, so i cant throw them awaY! its too late to go anywhere now!

Don't use homemade contact lens solutions, don't use tap water or distilled water ... can lead to blindness when protozoa start growing on the lenses.
Isn't there like a 24-hr convenience store or Walmart near you? it'd be better than going blind!
I don't understand about the brand new contacts, you open them up and you can't put them back? do they come dry or in solution? are they soft lenses?

I've used water before, but it hurts a little when you put them back in... I've also soaked them wetting drops... If you choose to use water, you might want to pick up some wetting solution at a pharmacy tomorrow on the way to work your eyes might feel a little bit dry...

use your rewetting drops, or just sleep in them and get up and get some solution in the morning

when that happened to me, i just slept with them on and waited till the next day to buy more solution!
