Occasionally UTIs need more than 1 round of antibiotics. Drink lots of water and cranberry juice, and eat yogurt to prevent yeast infections. AZO Standard is an over-the-counter medication that might help. If it doesn't go away soon, go back to doctor. Kidney infection can come from an untreated or mistreated UTI. Take care!

Are you sure you have a UTI? Did your doctor prescribe the antibitiotics?
Sometimes an untreated or an undertreated UTI can progress to a chronic UTI which requires more aggressive treatment. You should be sure that is what you really have.
If you do then did you take the full course of antibiotics? You can't not take the whole prescribed treatment....you must finish your antibiotic therapy in full for it to be effective.
If you're a male you should really be "more" concerned as UTI's are more common in women...especially if they have poor hygenic practices.
Either way be sure to take care of your hygiene, and be sure that you take the full course of antibiotics...if it doesn't clear up you might need to be reevaluated.
