Was it a book, a conversation or a thought? Was it sudden or gradual? How did you feel when you found the truth?

When I was little, I was forced to go to a Catholic school. I always had doubts in school because the teachings didn't make sense to me. The nuns would always say that religion is based on "faith". I would like to believe in "fact" instead. When I was growing up, nobody could ever give me a straight answer when you try to find facts about religion. Basically there are none. I finally decided that I don't care what people think when they find out that I am an atheist. Most people are borderline Christians anyway. They know that religion is nonsense, they just are too weak to stand on their own beliefs. They would rather follow some perverted priest's words and give him their money every Sunday just to play it safe.

Great! It gave me an all new perspective on Earth and the universe. It relieved the fear of going to hell and the pressure of trying to get into heaven. I grew up catholic until high school when I became very interested in science. I studied constantly about everything in the topic. After years of this, I slowly began to realize how moronic catholocism really was. Not just that, but any religion for that matter.

My studies led me to many theories on the universe. It had no begining and will have no end. The laws of science have existed forever. As for the creation of Earth, thousands of different gases in the universe combined creating solid mass, liquids, and the air that initially helped in the making of living things including plants and animals. No god created anything. There just happened to be perfect conditions to create life. It's almost difficult to that people still believe in false gods and prophets and how they created everything.

I"m agnostic. I don't believe most of the bible but I still believe there is a god.

You can't prove there is or there isn't a god. Why do so many atheists sit around bashing anyone who believes in god or god in general.

The one and only TRUTH there is, is that humans don't know anything and fools like you or even the pope try and convince us otherwise. Get over it keep your beliefs to yourself and stop bothering everyone with your useless "hahaha you're so stupid" banter. We don't need it.

The Bible is a compilation of manuscripts discovered by archaeologists on different places. Most of us believed that it was written by early prophets and disciples with the guidance of the holy spirit.

There are so many people that questions the authenticity of the Bible, but my principle is as simple as this.

When I was a kid, and I read the story of the boy who cried wolf. it taught me the wisdom of being honest and truthful. Although the story is purely fictional, it brings lesson, inspiration and guidance to young kids..

Same goes with the Bible, why waste time asking if its just a story , fact or fiction? Just read it like a book, like a magazine..after you read it..then, ask yourself..is it real or not?

"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing,... Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. ... For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and weakness of God is stronger than man's strength."

I'm sorry, what you think is truth is actually a lie. Read John 10:10.

Oh come now, you don't actually have any evidence to prove or disprove God's existance, then who are you to say that it is a lie...

but of course, ask yourself what is the truth.. do you have complete faith in God non-existance? Or are you just babbling like all those religious people saying God exists without hardcore evidence? So I say You can't handle the truth!

God is just another fake creation by man. However, many people from a very young age have been brain-washed into believeing in religion and God, and for them, it can be very traumatic when they start to break free and learn the truth.

Humanity has created many Gods, for example – Gods of Olympus, Ancient Egypt, Babylon and so on. Most of us are atheists about most Gods humanity has created, except the latest craze, the current God in the Bible. Learned atheists have also rejected this version of a God, but some hard-core believers still hang on, presumably until a better image of God is created by man.

Faith in God seems to be nothing more than humans attempting to run away from reality, an excuse to avoid thinking and evaluating evidence. Faith is just an emotional escape and really just a substitute for opening your eyes to reason.

Believers talk about God creating man in his own image. It’s in the Bible so it’s fact – get a grip, get real. The facts suggest the exact opposite. Man created God in his own image. I’m sure humanity will disregard this God, as they have disregarded all previous Gods, it’s just a matter of time before humanity creates another God that better serves their emotions and image.

Current evidence proves conclusively that God and the Bible are both fakes. There is not one single matter discussed in the Bible out of the many thousands of issues raised that has been proven true, yet many matters have been proven false. You don’t really need to be a rocket scientist to deduce with practically 100% certainty that God and the Bible are fake.

We must try and save people who believe in God. I know there are many nice people who believe in God, and they wouldn’t intentionally harm anyone. I suspect they would be just as nice if they didn’t believe in God, it’s just how their biological model works for them.

The real evil amongst us, are the vast majority of religious followers and believers who have clearly shown over time to be the major instigators of wars, violence, abuse, greed and practically everything evil on our planet.

We must stop innocent young lives, especially from birth, from being sucked into this evil religious trap. Humanity deserves at least an effort being made in this direction rather than just watching religion and the so-called do goody goody followers corrupting our world with evil.

Disagree with your statement.
My Dollar still has "In God we Trust".
The truth is:
Knowing God is worth more than any amount of money or Gold. I put nothing before God.

I do not want the devil as my Master.

Amen

Behold all that is around you on earth: things, plants, insects, animals, birds and fish...

Don't you see that they have accurate systems governing and guiding their life?

Behold all that is above you in space: sun, moon, planets, stars, clouds, wind ... etc., aren't they all functioning properly and accurately and rendering valuable services to our life on earth?

Think of yourself, of your organs, of your numerous and efficient body systems, how they are cooperatively functioning to secure healthful life for you!

Who created all these fantastic things? Who established their accurate systems? Who is controlling this huge and complicated universe?

No one dared so far to claim creating, or being able to create, any single thing, even a hair!!

The Creator and The Sustainer of all these Creatures is One only; if there were more than one there would have been confusion in the heavens and the earth! That One is Allah (the only true God).

It is very logical, then, to acknowledge this fact, to know our Creator and Provider to be grateful to Him, and to submit ourselves and our life to His Wise and Merciful Guidance.

Our Creator has endowed us with intellect to understand and with freedom to choose the right path.

Allah has showed us the right path through his messengers sealed by Mohammad and His Books completed by The Qur'an.

In front of us there are two ways: one is leading to bliss in this life and in the Hereafter that is Islam.

The other is leading to misery and loss in this world, and to eternal punishment in the Hereafter. The choice is ours, what are we going to choose? May Allah guide us into the Right Path! Aameen!
