Most of the places that, as you put it, be poppin, are 21 and over. It all depends on what you want to do and who your friends are. If you want to go hang out places, Atlantic Station, Turner field (baseball), Phillips Arena and The Gwinnett Arena (sporting events and concerts), The Masquerade has a under 21 area, a lot of the good restaurants you can go to. If you are wanting a day of things to do, then there is White Water (which might be closing soon due to school being back in session), Six Flags (which will be open on weekends only after Labor Day), Stone Mountain Park, The GA Aquarium.
I don't know if that helps any, but I think you could be able to go on line and go to the websites of some of the places that you hear about, and see if they are 18 or 21 and over. Hope you like it here. I do...

Well most places are 21 and older. Also i would not want to move to downtown Atlanta because there is a lot of crime at night. As long as you dont move to far away into the countryside there is always things to do.

I live in Tha A so I would suggest moving in the City area. go to www.citysearch.com and you will find very interesting places to go for 18 and over.
