The majority of FBI agents do not carry weapons.
Just an FYI, the FBI hires more people with degrees in accounting than folks with criminal justice degrees.

I just earned my masters in Forensic Criminology. Most FBI agents who are not confined to a desk do indeed carry a firearm. You will be put threw numerous tests. I dont know what state your in but in Tx you have to pass a handgun course to achieve a concealed weapon license. If you pass that, I dont see where the FBI can discriminate by telling you, you cant carry a weapon.

You would definitely not want to work in the field. Maybe lab work might be better. Sometimes they do have to use a gun.

All depends on how bad it is. They will probably test you and have a doctor evaluate you and stuff like that.
