i mean what is the time period for getting student visa

It depends where you are from and where you are getting a visa from, but if you are coming to the US they say the average time is about two months, but I think, more realistically, its about three weeks - depending on a bunch of things, of course.

For the US? It depends what country your from, what your gender is, and (depending on where your from and where your visa is to) how much of a bribe you gave/who you know in the office.
